Milan Fashion Week Fall 2015 designers showed diverse collections and points of view ranging from the return of the Seventies, Sixties and Fifties, simultaneously. Every color was featured, from rich, jewel tones to bold technicolor-patterned brights and muted pastels.

Coats are luxurious, relaxed-fit wraps. Suits and tailoring are still in style, but with a more casual, comfortable look. Flats are hot for fall, your feet will have a reprieve from the sky-high stilettos of previous seasons.
The 3 notable collections best showing relaxed, comfortable chic most beautifully are:
1. Jil Sander
Jil Sander always presents beautiful, well-tailored, minimalist clothing. Fall is no exception! Her collection is on trend with relaxed-fit cuts. Look for handbags in 2015, like the one shown on look 3, to be smaller and have short straps.
2. Max Mara
My favorite collection for the relaxed-chic look for fall! The fabrics were warm, soft and luxurious. The coats were sublime! The muted colors are classic and can combine nicely with pieces already in your wardrobe. Max Mara’s inspiration was Marylin Monroe. Think modern Marylin running errands.
3. Emilio Pucci
I love Pucci’s sixties girl meets rock and roll chic. The cutout hemline was a standout. What can I say about pockets? Thanks, Pucci, for providing an awkward girl a place to put her hands and smartphone. The sexy but easy fit dresses are great to sport from day to night. Flats may be in, but I need those red velvet boots!
If you want to incorporate the trends from the Milan Fashion Week Fall 2015 collections, invest in:
- A pair of Oxford flats
- A luxurious, relaxed fit coat with 1950s detailing
- A loosely tailored suit in navy
- A mini sweater dress
- A smaller handbag with short strap
